Downtown Academy: Athens, Georgia

Before Nathan and I were married, he served the Downtown Ministries as one of the basketball coaches, and saw the way sports were used as tool to build relationships with an entire community. ..to share the Love of Christ with both the children and their families. During our time in Athens, we saw the Lord bless Downtown Ministries and watched it grow exponentially. This year, the vision of Downtown Ministries to start a school, came to life.

Downtown Academy, will begin classes this Fall with Kindergarten and First Grade, with the intent to grow one grade per year.

It is truly amazing to now watch from afar, the amazing work the Lord is doing in Athens, Georgia through both Downtown Ministries and now Downtown Academy.
